Brasted Court

Southsea

The client wanted lots of planting areas but no lawn and an easier area to look after. We came up with interlinked circles to add interest and make the garden feel wider. Now it's filled with lots of pots and an abundance of flowers.

The client wanted a sleek contemporary feel and room for a large hydra pool. In the design, we created a space wrapped around the hydra pool so it didn’t stand out and created seating areas and some planting for maximum effect.

This was a split level garden that was very densely planted and overgrown. The client wanted a relaxed environment with a rill water feature and lighting to enhance the planting. We worked with the client to create a design based on these needs.

The client wanted a large play area for the family but also a more grown-up seating area for dining and relaxing. The garden was a nice size so we achieved this and added lots of planting to break up the areas and create the different spaces.

This was a small courtyard garden, the client wanted the area to be multi-use so we broke up the space using different surfaces, but kept it all at ground level so the tables and chairs could be moved around easily for their different needs.

This was a large garden that was a blank canvass as it was previously all lawn. We extended the patio and widened the steps, added a pergola, seating areas, lots of planted beds and a stream to create lots of interest and create a multi-room garden.

Titchfield Grange

Titchfield
In this small garden we moved a fence and created a seating space where the original driveway was. This doubled the garden size and gave the keen gardeners plenty of room to grow their crops. The paving is broken up and enhanced with a cobbled line.

This was a new-build plot and the client was a keen gardener. We used a modern slab and laying pattern with lots of traditional planting to soften the look. The central feature is a small silver birch which is edged in a contracting granite sett.
